Located in Dalbeattie, Heritage Guest House offers discerning visitors high-quality bed and breakfast accommodation at reasonable costEvening meals are also available, by prior arrangement.

There are two double rooms, both of which are en-suite and located on the first floor. There is also a ground  floor suite  comprising a double room, private lounge and separate toilet/shower facilities.

In the evening guests may relax in the comfortable television lounge which boasts a 42in. plasma television with SKY satellite service and an open fire.  A free-to-air SKY service is also available in each bedroom. 

For those guests who choose to bring a laptop there is also a wireless broadband  network.

Heritage Guest House is conveniently located close to Dalbeattie Town Wood, home of the Richorn trailhead mountain bike route, which is part of the 7Stanes group of world-class mountain bike trails, and is only five minutes by road from the Colvend Coast National Scenic Area which affords many opportunities for golfing, sailing, fishing, walking, cycling and birdwatching; there is a major RSPB site at Mersehead.   

The local area has an abundance of things to see and do.  There is a variety of golf courses as well as a recently opened golf driving-range only fifteen minutes from Dalbeattie.  Galloway also boasts a selection of fine historic buildings, including castles, country houses and Iron Age forts.  The arts and crafts are well represented; the artists' town, Kirkcudbright, is only a short drive away, and cultural events and festivals are held in various locations in Galloway throughout the year. Watersports are a major feature of the Loch Ken area, as is the well-known Glenkens Red Kite Trail.

The Galloway Hills Forest Park is approximately 30 minutes by road; the regional capital, Dumfries, is only 20 minutes away.  Heritage House is only 5 minutes drive from the Solway Coast, commonly referred to as the 'Scottish Riviera'.

Heritage House is also the location of Heritage Holistics, which provides visitors with an opportunity to avail themselves of the wide range of therapies provided by Kevin & Natasha, who are both highly-qualified and experienced practitioners. 

Prospective guests should be aware that we are unable to accommodate pets of any kind.  Kindly note that, in accordance with current Scottish law, Heritage Guest House is a non-smoking establishment.
